i just replaced my rear airmatic shocks on my 2002 benz s 430 this video is great but in real life the last step with the car jack is a nightmare nothing lines up right you spend 1 hr + lowering and raising jack using flathead screwdriver to line up hole a nightmare but job is complete once done alot of work but a happy camper at the end save myself 100,s of dollars good luck peeps

Great step by step video! I just completed this on my 2009 GL450. One note - the step where you (Step 5) remove the upper control arm nut and separate the upper A-Arm this requires a Ball Joint Separator. Pretty straight forward and purchasing the Arnott replacement Strut and doing the job myself saved me at least $1000 from the dealer!

Thank you for this video. I put on a new set of bag springs and after I was completely done and pressurized the bags, I realized that I failed to put the o rings in the new bags. Now the bags will hold air but they bleed off faster. This video shows me how to depressurize the bags so I can put the orings in. Thanks! Great vid :)

Great video. One addition would be that the bolt on the OEM Air Spring is 10mm. It is tight up in there for anyone doing this off of a jack. Thank you Arnott for a great product and video. Easily saved me $1,000.

I'm glad to have this as an option for our 2005 XJ8, it seems like a great alternative and much less expensive in the long run... not to mention it won't leave us stranded with the car bottomed out in the cold again. The video helped out quite a bit more than just having the paper instructions. I will say this dude had a much easier time than I did getting things to line up, especially the rear lower control arm bolts. I had to eventually get a ratcheting strap on those connected to the opposite side in order to pull down enough to get things to line up. I also had to use a jack on the front assembly to get the upper A arm to connect. Maybe this example car had more worn bushings or this guy is just much stronger than I am! Also of note, if you pop the rear seat back off of its mount points when you are disconnecting the air compressor relay then you will have to take the bottom of the seat out as well to get it back in properly. The good news there is you will likely find some spare change to make it all worthwhile! Thank you Arnott, I look to many care free miles on these coils!
